The Forgotten One No one remembers you,
When you are suffering and in pain.
Only when you're in the spotlight,
At the pinnacle of fortune and fame.
Locked up in chains,
Held by a gun,
Our hero sits and waits,
But no one remembers,
The forgotten one.
I hear him crying and praying,
Deep in the night.
I feel his pain,
From across the miles,
Though he's far from sight.
I will keep trying and marching on,
To keep up the fight,
Out from the darkness,
And into the light.
I will tell others,
Of my father's plight,
And to listen,
When he speaks from his video,
And to remember his words,
Until things are made right.
